A key highlight of the meeting was the strong progress made by the project’s three demos, which are now converging towards a shared vision for CELINE’s digital toolbox. This joint effort (between the pilots being established in Lapperanta, Finland; Green Land, Italy; and Valencia, Spain) is helping define how digital solutions can be effectively tailored to support energy communities across different national contexts, ensuring both scalability and real impact.

Through an interactive workshop, partners exchanged knowledge, refined strategies, and strengthened their collective approach to build user-centered digital tools for energy communities.

The Second Year of the Project Accelerates Implementation

The first demo is the one already showing tangible results, and the other two showed great progress during this General Assembly. Through a web-app already functioning, the pilot in Valencia has reached an advanced stage of development and is setting the pace for the rest of the project. To showcase this progress, and to implement trainings that will be useful for energy community’s workshops among citizenship, a video has been produced and will soon be available on YouTube, offering stakeholders an early look at how CELINE’s solutions work in practice.

Learning from Real-World Innovation

Participants of the General Assembly also participated in a side event organized by Sapiens on Tuesday and visited Endurae’s facilities on Thursday. There, they explored cutting-edge solutions in solar battery systems and energy storage. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into how renewable technologies can be integrated with digital platforms to enhance flexibility and efficiency in local energy systems.

With growing alignment, practical advancements, and strengthened collaboration, CELINE is taking decisive steps towards empowering energy communities with innovative digital solutions and accelerating the transition to a more sustainable and inclusive energy future in Europe.
