SYNERGIES
1 E-NERGY Cluster
CELINE has joined forces with four more Horizon Europe projects : EU DREAM, DIGITISE, DECODIT, and ENERGENIUS to form the new E-NERGY cluster.
This initiative focuses on leveraging digital technologies to enhance consumer engagement in the energy sector. By improving access to energy information and making it more interactive, the collaboration aims to break down barriers and encourage public participation in the energy transition.
The name “E-NERGY” merges the concepts of “energy” and “e-mails,” and just as e-mails made the exchange of information seamless, and accessible, E-NERGY cluster aims to democratise access to energy information, making it easy and quick, and leading the sector into a new digital era.
About the other projects:
ENERGENIUS: Utiliing AI, it harmonises vast data streams to deliver personalised insights and practical tools via the ENERGENIUS Suite, empowering communities with digital tools and engaging citizens through a serious game interface. The project aims to facilitate a green energy transition with a community-driven approach.
DIGITISE focuses on enhancing digital literacy and empowering consumers in the energy sector. It promotes active engagement in digital energy activities and markets, positioning consumers, and prosumers at the forefront of the energy transition.
EU-DREAM aims to develop next-generation energy services, solutions, and products that benefit consumers, using an AI-based assistant to optimise settings based on individual, and an NLP intermediary will facilitate seamless, communication in everyday language.
DECODIT project aims to develop digital tools to support citizens in making informed decisions for a sustainable energy future. Specifically, DECODIT will offer personalised options through data-driven services. Natural language interfaces ensure accessibility, while innovative financing models lower barriers for investment.
2 BRIDGE initiative
CELINE project has joined the BRIDGE initiative!
BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative uniting Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects focused on smart energy systems, including Smart Grids, Energy Storage, Islands, and Digitalisation.
Its objective is to encourage dialogue on the key challenges faced in demonstration projects. By identifying solutions to innovation barriers, promoting knowledge sharing, and providing recommendations, BRIDGE seeks to accelerate the energy transition.
CELINE project will be active in two of the four permanent Working Groups representing the main areas of interest:
Each working group establishes specific objectives to be pursued throughout the year. Comprehensive reports and recommendations are crafted for the European Commission, covering diverse themes related to the evolution of the energy sector. The working groups enable collaborative efforts with the aim of articulating findings that influence future policy, technology developments, and the future application of projects results.
